Eric Miller

Eric Miller has over thirty years of professional experience in the energy industry, starting with AES in 1984. Eric served as Vice President of Environmental Services, where they were employee 25 and was responsible for building advanced forecasting models for long range strategic planning for electric utilities. In 1990, they joined Kenetech as Vice President of Business Development, where they were responsible for sales, regulatory affairs, land acquisition, permitting, community affairs, and permitting in the southwestern US and California. In 1996, they founded Foresight Energy, a venture back energy management software company, and served as CEO. In 1999, they joined Silicon Energy, Inc. as Vice President of Strategy and Itron as Vice President of Software Solutions. In 2008, they became an Executive in Residence at Mohr Davidow Ventures and Senior Vice President at Trilliant, where they were responsible for Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Software Development. In 2011, they founded SCVsoft, a software and product development company, and served as CEO. Finally, in 2014, they became Co-Founder and CEO of Avi-on Labs, a connected products company that is changing the way the world wires and controls spaces.

Eric Miller completed their Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Colorado College in 1983 and their Master of Science in Engineering and Resource Systems from Dartmouth College in 1985.
