Romas Butkevicius

Romas Butkevicius has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Romas is currently the Head of R&D at Avia Solutions Group, a prominent aerospace business group. Prior to this, Romas served as the Chief Executive Officer at Sensus Aero. Romas also worked as the Global Product Director for Self Service Solutions at StrongPoint, a company listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange. Romas has extensive experience in the IT sector, having held leadership positions such as Chief IT Management Centre Officer/CIO at MAXIMA GROUP and IT Director/CIO at MAXIMA LT. Romas also served as the Managing Director at EUROCOM and Director at SONEX TPC, where they oversaw IT infrastructure repairs and customer support services.

Romas Butkevicius earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Kaunas University of Technology in 1992. Romas later obtained a Research Engineer of Electronics degree from the same university in 1993. Romas then pursued a Ph.D. Program of Electronics and Measurements in Kaunas University of Technology from 1993 to 1997, although the specific degree earned during this period is unknown. Lastly, in 2015, they completed their Master of Management Studies (MBA) with a focus on Strategic Leadership at the same university.
