Lead Scientist, Analytical Development at AviadoBio

Lily Li has over 10 years of experience in the biotechnology industry. Lily began their career in 2010 as a Placement Student at GlaxoSmithKline, where they conducted research on the generation of therapeutic humanised monoclonal antibodies and developed skills in molecular cloning and biophysical analysis. In 2012, they completed a PhD at The Institute of Cancer Research and also completed a Summer Internship at Pfizer. From 2017 to 2022, they worked at Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult as an Analytical Development Scientist and Viral Vector Analytical Senior Scientist. In their roles, they provided analytical solutions and aided regulatory submissions for viral vector therapy products, characterized an allogeneic cell therapy with omics-based technologies, and delivered a qPCR platform for characterizing an immunotherapy product. Currently, they are a Lead Scientist in Analytical Development at AviadoBio.

Lily Li received their Bachelor of Science in Biology, General from Imperial College London from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Cheltenham Ladies' College from 2002 to 2008. Lily then went on to receive their Doctor of Philosophy in Multiple Myeloma from The Institute of Cancer Research from 2012 to 2017.
