Edgar Ramos

Edgar Ramos serves as Jefe de Mantenimiento Linea y Base at Avianca since July 2019, leading maintenance operations for the Airbus A320 fleet equipped with V2500/CFM56/LEAP1A engines in El Salvador. Responsibilities include direct management of 80 technicians and 7 supervisors, ensuring compliance with RAC-145 standards and operational safety policies, while coordinating with the Maintenance Control Center and Engineering departments to minimize AOG Time and ensure adherence to Estimated Time of Return (ETR) and Turnaround Time (TAT). Prior to this role, Edgar worked as an Ingeniero de mantenimiento de aviones at TACA from July 2007 to July 2019. Edgar holds a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidad de El Salvador, completed between 2001 and 2007.
