Jose Montoya

Jose Montoya has a strong background in financial planning and analysis. Jose started their career at Bancaja as an Asistente Marketing in 2002. From 2003 to 2005, they worked at TACA as a Financial Analyst and later as a Financial Administrator. Jose then moved up to the position of Financial Controller and Financial Planning and Reporting Manager from 2005 to 2010. Jose joined Avianca Holdings S.A. in 2010 as a Financial Planning Director, where they were responsible for coordinating, reviewing, and recommending budgets for various areas and business units. Jose also implemented a financial planning integrated platform for managing financial performance reports and operational cost analysis. In 2019, they transitioned to Avianca as a Managing Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, before being promoted to the role of Vice President of Financial Planning Analysis in May 2021.
