Lars Erik Matsson Fagernæs

Lars Erik Matsson Fagernæs is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of Aviant, a position they have held since January 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Summer Intern at Palantir Technologies in 2019, where they were responsible for integrating customer data sources, building data processing units, and automating deployment procedures. In 2018, they had two internships at the Lockheed Martin Solar & Astrophysics Lab, where they worked on machine learning projects and simulations of the solar atmosphere. Before that, Lars Erik co-founded Gobitech AS and served as the CTO, gaining valuable experiences in marketing, teamwork, pitching, leadership, and startup organization. Lars Erik Matsson also worked as a Fundraiser at Røde Kors Hovedstaden in 2015.

Lars Erik Matsson Fagernæs, during their education journey, pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2017 to 2021. Lars Erik Matsson also had the opportunity to participate in an exchange program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the field of Computer Science from 2019 to 2020. Again, as part of an exchange program, Lars Erik attended Tsinghua University from 2018 to 2019, focusing on Computer Science. Prior to their Master's degree, Lars Erik studied Computer Engineering at NTNU from 2014 to 2016. Lars Erik Matsson completed their Vidregående (secondary education) at Wang Toppidrett in 2013, where they pursued General Studies.
