AVIARD is an edutainment social enterprise founded in 2008 by award-winning youth coach and filmmaker, Amani Simpson.

The name ‘AVIARD’ combines Aviate (to fly) and Hard (not easily broken), reflecting our belief in rising above life’s challenges with resilience and purpose.

We exist to inspire hope and confidence in young people through a unique blend of personal development, digital media, and transformational opportunities. While we support all youth, our passion lies in empowering those who are systematically disadvantaged or in need of a second chance.

Our flagship initiative, The Amani Project, uses creative storytelling, relatable role models, and immersive content to spark change. This includes our award-winning short film ‘AMANI’ (2019), starring Joivan Wade, which has reached over 4 million views on YouTube and continues to resonate with audiences worldwide.

Through workshops, mentoring, and our Save Me film and campaigns, we provide real-life tools for emotional resilience, self-belief, and personal growth. We’re also developing an interactive app that will bring AVIARD’s core values and programmes to the fingertips of young people everywhere — making positive guidance accessible anytime, anywhere.
