Allison Barber

Allison Barber has worked in a variety of roles in the aviation and education industries. Allison began their career as a Group Figure Skating Instructor for Chesapeake Skating School in 1997. In 1999, they became a Private Figure Skating Instructor while self-employed. In 2003, they interned at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. In 2007, they were a Research Assistant at the University of North Dakota. From 2008 to 2012, they were an Aviation Courseware Developer at Aerosim Technologies. From 2012 to 2016, they were an Advisor, International Operations at Assessment Compliance Group Inc. Since 2016, they have been the VP, Innovation and Engagement and Senior Advisor, Business Strategy and Senior Advisor, MELs at AviationManuals. In these roles, they have managed business operations, developed MEL technical documents, and collaborated with other product managers to develop user experience and marketing improvements.

Allison Barber obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Management from the University of North Dakota in 2007. Allison also holds a Commercial Pilot (CP), Airplane Single and Multi-Engine Land, Instrument certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration, obtained in July 2005. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from the American Management Association in Strategic Planning and Time Management, obtained in October 2016 and June 2016 respectively. Finally, they hold a Part 107 Remote Pilot, Small UAS certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration, obtained in September 2019.
