Joe Davenport has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Joe started their career in 1997 at The Walt Disney Company/Disney Toon Studios, where they served as a Senior Systems Administrator. During their time there, they designed and installed a production infrastructure for digital animation and supported the transition to Linux and Windows XP systems. Joe also implemented backup and archive systems using VERITAS/Symantec NetBackup.
Joe then worked at the Walt Disney Internet Group as a Systems Engineer, where they deployed and managed servers for multi-player online games and engineered systems for data storage, backup, and archive. Joe later joined Disney Interactive Media Group as a Systems Engineer, supporting multiplayer online game websites and contributing to the roll-out of new game features.
In 2020, Joe became the Head of Information Technology at The Product Factory, where they managed the IT infrastructure for post-production, effects, compositing, color correction, editing, graphics, and animation services. Joe was responsible for remote access for artists and clients, as well as internal network management and product delivery to clients.
Joe also gained experience as a Senior Network Engineer/Broadcast Engineer at BeBop Technology, where they supported IP networks for remote productions of The National Hot Rod Association. Joe'sresponsibilities included configuration and monitoring of switches, routers, WiFi, firewalls, troubleshooting of network issues, and setting up antennas and computers for live timing systems.
Additionally, Joe worked at Hays as an Information Technology Help Desk representative for Walt Disney Studios IT. Joe also freelanced as a Cisco CCNA and AWS Cloud instructor at Los Angeles Mission College and Pasadena City College.

From 1976 to 1978, Joe attended Pasadena City College, where they studied Radio and Television Broadcasting Technology/Technician. During the same period, they also pursued additional studies in Radio and Television Production and Engineering, as well as Electronics Technology, specializing in Analog, Digital RF.
In 1975, Joe attended Los Angeles Valley College, focusing on Theatre Arts with an emphasis on Radio/TV production.
In 2020 and 2021, Joe enrolled at Los Angeles Mission College for Amazon AWS Associate certification. Joe'sstudies included Network+ and Python Programming.
In 2022, Joe plans to attend Key Code Education to pursue Avid Media Composer - Avid Certified Service Representative certification.
In addition to their educational background, Joe has obtained several certifications. Joe earned the Certified Broadcast Technologist (CBT) designation from the Society of Broadcast Engineers in January 2020. Joe obtained the Certified Radio Operator (CRO) certification from the same institution in May 2023. Joe also holds an Avid Certified | Support Representative, Media Composer certification from Avid, obtained in December 2022. Joe has completed Dante Level 1, Dante Level 2, and Dante Level 3 certifications from Audinate, with the respective completion dates in progress.
