Niema Pahlevan's work experience includes:

- Assistant Professor Of Medicine at Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California since August 2017

- Assistant Professor of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at University of Southern California since January 2017

- Co-Founder at Avicena since April 2014

- Clinical Research Investigator at HMRI- Huntington Medical Research Institutes from May 2014 to December 2016

- Postdoctoral Scholar at Caltech from June 2013 to April 2014.

Niema Pahlevan's education history began in 1996 when they enrolled at the University of Tehran and pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. This education continued until 2001.

After completing their bachelor's degree, Niema Pahlevan furthered their studies and obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Northridge from 2005 to 2007.

Continuing their academic journey, they joined Caltech in 2007 and focused on Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering. During this time, Niema Pahlevan pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree, which they successfully completed in 2013.
