Esmeralda Garcia-Orosco

Esmeralda Garcia-Orosco M.S. is a dedicated scientist with extensive experience in biopharmaceutical development, specifically in downstream viral vector process development. Currently, Esmeralda works as Scientist 1 at Avid Bioservices since August 2022. Previously, Esmeralda held roles at GenVivo Inc. as Operations Development Engineer II and Operations Development Associate, where significant contributions included conducting dynamic binding capacity studies and managing GMP production schedules. Additional experience includes a graduate associate position at the Jefferson Institute for Bioprocessing, a bioprocess engineer internship at Keck Graduate Institute, and various research roles at the University of California, Berkeley, culminating in a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Biology.
