Eileen Friou

Eileen Friou started their work experience in 2002 as the AVID District Director for Richardson ISD. From 2007 to 2009, they served as the Texas State Director for AVID Center. Eileen then became the Director of AVID Postsecondary from 2010 to 2014. Finally, they took on the role of Head of Special Projects, Learning Programs, Products, and Services at AVID Center starting in 2014.

Eileen Friou earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science from The University of Texas at Arlington between 1980 and 1983. Subsequently, they pursued higher education and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Educational Technology from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi from 1997 to 2000.
