Grant Wilhite

Grant Wilhite is an experienced educational professional with a diverse background in counseling and teaching. Currently serving as the AVID Central Region-Southern Area Program Manager at AVID Center since November 2021, Grant has also contributed as an AVID Staff Developer since April 2015, participating in summer institutes in Dallas and San Antonio. Previous experience includes a long tenure as a high school counselor with Lewisville ISD and Marcus High School, along with roles as an AVID Coordinator and teacher. Grant began a career in education as a teacher and coach at Wichita Public Schools from 1998 to 2004. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Counselor Education from Lamar University and a Bachelor of Education in Social Studies from Kansas State University.
