Elizabeth Aubin is an experienced educator currently serving as an Elementary Education Teacher and AVID Elementary Site Coordinator in Mequon-Thiensville School District since August 2016. Elizabeth teaches 5th grade and has previously taught 3rd grade, contributing as an AVID Site Coordinator for Wilson Elementary School. In addition to classroom responsibilities, Elizabeth has taken on several extracurricular roles including Team Leader, Mentor for New Teachers, and Digital Communications Coordinator. Elizabeth has facilitated professional learning sessions at the Closing the Achievement Gap Consortium and has led onboarding for new teachers. Recognized for excellence, Elizabeth received the Metropolitan Milwaukee Alliance of Black School Educators award in 2022 and achieved a distinguished rating in all areas of the Danielson Framework during the 2023 evaluation. Elizabeth also works as an AVID Staff Developer since June 2024 and has prior teaching experience at Hmong American Peace Academy, Milwaukee Public Schools, and the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and English from Marquette University.
