Tarrah Thompson, M.Ed., currently serves as an Implementation Strategist at AVID Center since July 2021. Previously, Tarrah worked at Austin Independent School District from August 2008 to July 2021 in various roles, including AVID District College Readiness Coordinator, Child Study Facilitator, AVID Elementary District Coordinator, and Teacher/Campus Coordinator. Prior to that position, Tarrah was a Middle School Science Teacher at Hays CISD from August 2007 to August 2008. Tarrah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Texas State University, a Master of Arts in Education Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University, and a Principal as Instructional Leader degree from Lamar University.
