Chase Popp

Chase Popp is an experienced physical education teacher and climbing instructor with a strong background in developing engaging curricula and promoting student wellness. Currently leading programs at Bergen Valley Elementary, Chase focuses on comprehensive physical education for grades K-5, incorporating nutrition and self-care alongside fitness training. Prior roles include teaching physical education at Banning Lewis Academy, where participation increased by 50%, and Windsor Charter Academy, where personalized fitness plans resulted in significant improvements in student fitness levels. As a climbing instructor at Avid4 Adventure, Chase has successfully enhanced the climbing skills of numerous young students. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Northern Colorado and a Teacher Certification in Health and Physical Education from the University of West Florida.
