Nate Thoreson

Nate Thoreson is an experienced professional in outdoor education and management with a strong background in various leadership roles. Currently serving as a Staffing Specialist and Director at Avid4 Adventure since May 2017, Nate specializes in overseeing day-to-day management and ensuring safety in outdoor activities such as biking, kayaking, and rock climbing. In addition, Nate contributes to the Colorado High School Cycling League in Race Operations and manages Cottonwood Farms. Previous roles include co-founding St. Kilda Rickshaws as Operations Director, managing Trampoline Gelato, and working in various capacities that emphasize customer service, educational support, and multi-sport instruction. Nate holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Adventure Education from Fort Lewis College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
