Carlos Rey

Carlos Rey currently serves as the Associate Director of Supply Chain at Avidity Biosciences, Inc. since April 2023, bringing extensive supply chain management experience from previous roles at Halozyme, Inc. and Bachem, among others. At Bachem, Carlos led the transformation of the Sales & Operation Planning process for the Americas, enhancing visibility of demand and production capabilities. At Par Pharmaceutical, initiatives led by Carlos resulted in a 20% increase in inventory projection accuracy and significant cost savings through contract negotiations. Earlier, experiences at Actavis involved optimizing inventory targets and managing strategic inventory programs to exceed customer service levels. Carlos holds an MBA from Florida International University and a BS in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the same institution.
