Jia (Carrie) Xu

Jia (Carrie) Xu has work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Jia (Carrie) started their career as a Summer Intern at HighTide Biopharmaceutical Company in 2015. After that, they joined Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc. in 2019 as a Research Associate I, and later took on the role of Research Associate II/Lab manager from 2021 to 2022. Jia (Carrie) then became a Senior Research Associate/Lab Manager at Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc. from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they are working as a Senior Research Associate at Avidity Biosciences, Inc. starting from April 2023.

Jia (Carrie) Xu completed their education in biochemistry and molecular biology with a Master of Science degree from UC San Diego from 2017 to 2019. Before pursuing their master's, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Purdue University, where they studied from 2013 to 2017.
