Laura Leung has a diverse work experience in the field of toxicology and research. Laura currently holds the position of Principal Scientist in Toxicology at Avidity Biosciences, Inc., starting in January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Scientist in Toxicology at the same company from June 2021 to January 2023.
Before joining Avidity Biosciences, Inc., Laura worked at NGM Biopharmaceuticals as a Senior Toxicologist from February 2020 to May 2021. Laura also held the role of Scientist II in Toxicology at NGM Biopharmaceuticals from October 2018 to January 2020.

Laura Leung has a BA in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. Laura also has a PhD in Environmental Toxicology from UC Irvine.
