Sandro Nalli

Sandro Nalli has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and roles. Starting in 1992, they worked as a Summer Intern at Noranda Copper Refinery. Sandro then took on the role of Development Engineer at Cansolv Technologies Inc. in 2005. Shortly after, they joined The Structural Genomics Consortium (SGC) as a Research Associate/Biochemical Process Engineer.

In 2006, Nalli became a Development Scientist at Sanofi Pasteur before transitioning to Lafayette College as an Adjunct Professor in 2008. In the same year, they also joined GSK, where they held several positions including Principal Scientist, External CRO/CMO Outsourcing Manager, and Biopharm CMC Manager.

In 2017, Nalli moved to Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. as an Associate Director and later became the Director of CMC Management & Operations. In these roles, they provided strategic leadership, coordination, and management of global and regional CMC development teams for multiple drug development candidates.

From 2021 to 2022, Nalli worked at Spark Therapeutics, Inc. as a Strategy and Operations Lead. In this role, they were responsible for team management, business plan development and execution, and workforce planning.

Currently, Nalli holds the position of Vice President of Technical Development and Operations at Avidity Biosciences, Inc., starting in 2022.

Sandro continued their studies at McGill, completing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from 1996 to 1999. Sandro Nalli furthered their education with a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from McGill University, which they completed from 1999 to 2001. Their dedication to academia culminated in a Doctorate of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering from McGill University, achieved between 2001 to 2005. Sandro Nalli concluded their education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance from the Lehigh University College of Business between 2008 to 2011.
