Ana Maria Dumitru has a diverse work experience in the hospitality and crisis management industry. Ana Maria started their career in 2009 at Carnival Cruise Line, where they held a leadership position as a Guest Services Manager. During their time there, they were responsible for monitoring service levels, resolving guest concerns, and analyzing business trends.
In 2016, Ana became a Co-Owner of Casa Margo Challet, where they gained experience in hospitality management and consulting. Ana Maria demonstrated strong entrepreneurship skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Since 2018, Ana has been working at Aviem International, Inc. Ana Maria initially joined as a Manager, Client Services in Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Ana Maria'srole included overseeing CareTeam activations and hotel operations on board cruise ships. Ana Maria was also selected to lead new ship start-ups and take delivery of several vessels in Europe.
Later, Ana was promoted to Director, Client Services and Support, where they supported the team in delivering the company's mission of providing compassionate care to survivors, families, and employees after a crisis or trauma. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President Client Services at Aviem International, Inc.
Ana Maria Dumitru attended Universitatea Transilvania din Brașov from 1999 to 2001, where they studied Business Administration and Management. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at C.D.Nenitescu Highschool from 1994 to 1998, with a focus on Foreign Languages and Literatures. In addition to their formal education, Ana Maria Dumitru has obtained certifications in Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in 2021, Carnival College of Management, Hospitality, L.E.A.D. training, Safety trainings from Carnival Cruise Line in 2008, and Human Services Response™ from HIGHER RESOURCES, INC.
