Scott Buchanan, CSCP, currently serves as Vice President of Environmental, Health & Safety at Avient Corporation, a position held since July 2020, with responsibilities that include oversight of global EHS, Product Stewardship, Global Trade, and Quality. Prior to this role, Scott held various leadership positions at PolyOne from April 2007 to July 2020, including Director of Global EHS & Product Stewardship, Manufacturing Director for Specialty Engineered Materials North America, and several Plant Manager roles overseeing significant site operations and transitions. Earlier experience includes a plant manager position at MonierLifetile and various operational leadership roles at PolyOne from June 1998 to January 2006. Scott holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, both from the University of Louisville.
