Curriculum Developer And Adjunct Instructor at Avila University

Dr. Jennifer Harris currently serves as the Principal of Excelsior Springs School District #40 since July 2023 and has a diverse educational background and extensive experience in various leadership roles. In addition to her principalship, Dr. Harris holds positions as an Adjunct Instructor at Baker University since June 2021 and at Avila University since July 2017, where also serves as a Curriculum Developer. Previous roles include Principal of Belvidere Elementary in Grandview C4 until January 2024, Principal at McLouth Elementary School, and Assistant Principal at Leavenworth USD453, where also functioned as Assessment Coordinator. Earlier experiences include roles at Swedeborg R3 and Waynesville R6 School District, where Dr. Harris was involved in professional development and classroom teaching.
