Jorge Ticas

Jorge Ticas is a scientist with extensive experience in discovery and translational biology, currently holding the title of Scientist II at Avilar Therapeutics. Previously, Jorge served as Lead Biology Scientist and Lead Pharmacology Associate at Synlogic. Additional experience includes positions as Senior Research Associate at Ohana Biosciences, Development Associate II at ImmunoGen, and Research Associate and Intern at ProterixBio. Jorge earned a Master's degree in Applied Biotechnology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2019 and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from the same institution in 2015.
