Zied Gherine

Zied Gherine currently serves as Director and Head of Aviation Service Investments at the Public Investment Fund (PIF) and has held multiple positions in the private equity sector, including Senior Vice President and Vice President of Private Equity Direct Investments. Zied's expertise spans aviation, airlines, aerospace, private equity, and financial services, focusing on strategy development, commercial due diligence, M&A, and performance improvement. In addition, Zied holds leadership roles at Saudia Technic as Chairman of the Performance Committee and at AviLease as a member of the Executive Committee. Previous experience includes a senior management role at Bain & Company and project leadership at umlaut, with a strong background in operational transformation and project management. Zied obtained an MBA from INSEAD and holds Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Groningen and the University of Bremen.
