Ty Lastrapes

Ty LaStrapes is an experienced leader in aerospace and defense, currently serving as General Manager at Avilution, LLC since July 2023, focusing on the development of the eXtensible Flight System (XFS). Previously, Ty LaStrapes was the Business Owner at Aerial Link Defense Consulting and held a senior management role at L3Harris Technologies, overseeing SATCOM and Data Links for numerous military programs. Ty LaStrapes has extensive experience in program management and product development, with significant contributions to the U.S. Army's aviation communication systems and technology integration. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Systems Engineering Management from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Master's Certificate in Cybersecurity from Villanova University.
