Avina Women's Care
Angela Alston is a highly experienced Women's Health Nurse Practitioner currently serving at Avina Women's Care since June 2022. Angela holds several academic positions at The Ohio State University College of Nursing, including Lead Faculty for the Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Program and Assistant Clinical Professor, contributing to both Women's Health Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Midwifery Graduate Programs. Prior to these roles, Angela spent over a decade at OhioHealth in various capacities, including as Women's Health Nurse Practitioner at Grant Medical Center and Riverside Methodist Hospital, and Manager of Advanced Practice Providers for OhioHealth Physician Group. Angela has a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from The Ohio State University and extensive education in nursing and public health, including a Master of Public Health (MPH) and a Post-Masters in Family Nurse Practitioner.
