Chris Williams has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Chris began their career in 1985 as an Aviation Warfare Systems Operator for the U.S. Navy, where they served as a Naval Aircrewman until 2005. In 2006, they joined Avion Solutions as a Graphics Illustrator/Systems Analyst, responsible for producing and reviewing graphics for CH-47 Technical Publications. Chris also reviewed technical wiring diagrams and created active links for troubleshooting guides. From 2010 to 2012, Chris worked as a Systems Engineer at Avion Solutions, coordinating between the Lead Engineer and Subject Matter Experts for the Aviation Engineering Directorate. Chris reviewed installation procedures and manuals for airworthiness issues. In 2012, they transitioned to the Logistics Management Institute as a Systems Engineer until 2013. There they worked on various projects, ensuring the effectiveness of systems engineering processes. From 2013 onwards, Chris joined Avion Solutions, Inc. once again, working as an Engineer. Chris served as a Test Plan Engineer, writing and reviewing test plans and reports for airworthiness considerations. Chris also conducted research on Condition Based Maintenance Health and Usage Monitoring Systems. Lastly, in 2017, they joined the US Navy as a Radar Flight Test Engineer. Overall, Chris has gained extensive experience in engineering, testing, maintenance, and analysis throughout their career.
Chris Williams attended UA Huntsville from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Chris also attended The University of Alabama in Huntsville during the same period and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
