Kim M.

Kim M. has a diverse work experience in engineering and project management roles. Kim is currently working as an Engineer III at Avion Solutions, Inc. Their previous role was as a Project Engineer/Project Manager at AI Signal Research, where they supported telemetry and flight termination systems for the Redstone Test Center. Prior to that, they worked as a Functional/Manufacturing Engineer at Aisin U.S.A. Mfg., where they were involved in machine modifications, maintenance, and kaizen projects. Kim also had experience in design engineering at Toyota Forklift, 2D and 3D modeling using Catia V5, and supporting manufacturing floor installations. Outside of engineering, they worked as a hostess, expo, and prep at Chili's, and as a garden associate at The Home Depot. Kim also has mentoring experience at NSBE SEEK and served as a Graphical Communications TA at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Kim M. has a strong educational background in engineering and business. Kim obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, and Spanish from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in the years 2007-2011.

Currently, Kim is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Engineering Management from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, with an expected completion date in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Kim has also obtained several certifications. Kim is a Solidworks Mechanical Design Associate, certified by Dassault Systèmes in April 2021. In April 2014, Kim earned a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Six Sigma Online Learning. Most recently, in June 2021, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
