Kurt Yoder

Senior System Engineer at Avion Solutions, Inc.

Kurt Yoder has a diverse and extensive work experience in the aerospace industry. Kurt started their career as a Jet Engine Mechanic in the United States Air Force from 1983 to 1987. After that, Yoder worked as a Reliability Engineer at H.P. Reid Company from 1993 to 1997, where they developed and implemented ISO 9001 Quality Standards. Yoder then joined Lockheed Martin in 1997, initially working as a Product Support Engineer on the C-130J Program before taking on roles as an Electronics Engineer and Staff Electronics Engineer on various programs such as the C-27J and the US Customs Service P-3 Program. During their tenure at Lockheed Martin, they managed the development, verification, and testing of avionics systems, as well as evaluated supplier proposals and contributed to the redesign of aircraft components. Yoder joined Gulfstream Aerospace in 2017, where they served as an Avionics System Engineer, specifically working on the development and redesign of special mission aircraft and supporting customer mission success. Currently, they hold the position of Senior System Engineer at Avion Solutions, Inc. since 2020.

Kurt Yoder earned their Bachelor's Degree in Avionics Engineering Technology from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 1988 to 1992.
