Scott Ridge

Scott Ridge is the Vice President of Products at Avionica. Prior to joining Avionica, they were the Head of Partners and Alliances - Aviation Digital at GE Aviation, where they were responsible for business development, channels/partners/alliances for building the aviation eco-system for GE's Industrial IoT.

Before joining GE Aviation, Scott Ridge was a consultant in the Applied Engineering Services Division at Tectura. In this role, they provided aviation operations consulting services.

Prior to their consulting role at Tectura, Scott Ridge spent over 10 years at Alaska Airlines, where they held various positions, including Managing Director of Technical Operations and Support for Flight Operations. In this role, they led a staff of 110 personnel and a budget of $20M with multiple departments responsible for ensuring all technical aspects of flight operations were appropriately planned, implemented, and managed. Scott also developed the strategic and tactical plans and vision for technology implementation and business process improvements, and provided oversight to the execution of the annual plan.

During their time at Alaska Airlines, Scott Ridge also created and led the dedicated Fuel Conservation efforts. Scott evaluated, justified and implemented numerous initiatives, including blended winglets, variable cost index, changing Flight Planning System vendors, use of ground power equipment, weight reduction initiatives. These efforts saved $15M annually.

Scott Ridge's educational career began with a BS in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Washington. Scott followed that with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.

Scott Ridge reports to Raul Segredo, President & CEO. They work with Edward Gorman - VP, Engineering, Philip Anderson - Chief Financial Officer, and Claudia Espinosa - VP, Commercial.
