Edgar Thomas, CPA has had a successful career in accounting, starting in 2005 as an Assistant Director of Admission at Vassar College. In 2009, they moved to Deloitte & Touche as a Senior Associate. In 2012, they were a Senior Private Equity Accountant at HarbourVest Partners. In 2015, they were the Director of Finance and Accounting (Sierra Leone) at Partners In Health. In 2017, they became the Controller at CiBO Technologies. In 2018, they were the Associate Director, Accounting and Sr. Accounting Manager - US at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals. Most recently, in 2020, they became the Co-Founder and COO of Avise Inc.

Edgar Thomas, CPA obtained an A.B. in Government from Harvard University from 2001 to 2005. Edgar then attended Suffolk University in 2008 and subsequently obtained an MS in Accounting from the Boston College Carroll School of Management in 2008-2009. In 2010, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant certification from the AICPA and in 2011, they obtained the Chartered Accountant (Sierra Leone) certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sierra Leone.
