Mikkel Hansen

Mikkel Hansen has over 17 years of experience in the financial industry. Mikkel currently holds the position of Director of Compliance at Aviso Wealth. Prior to that, Mikkel served as the Senior Manager Compliance for IG Wealth Management in Ontario, overseeing a large team and implementing a corporate supervision model. Mikkel also worked as a Wealth Management Advisor at FirstOntario Investments/ Credential Securities, a Business Development professional at National Bank Financial, and a Branch Manager at BMO Nesbitt Burns. In their various roles, Mikkel has demonstrated strong leadership, regulatory oversight, and expertise in wealth management and investment advisory.

Mikkel Hansen completed their Bachelor of Science in Global Resource Systems at The University of British Columbia from 1997 to 2001. In 1999, they also pursued a Bachelor's degree in International Business/Management at Copenhagen Business School, and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Economics at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen. Additionally, they obtained various certifications from the Canadian Securities Institute, including CE Ethics Case Study in 2016, Hedge Funds Essentials in 2014, and Effective Management Seminar in 2008, among others.
