Scott T. Pickett

Scott Pickett is a seasoned real estate professional with more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate, brokerage, and development. As the Managing Director and Principal of Avison Young’s Columbus Office, Scott and his team serve Central and Southern Ohio.

Scott’s broad expertise in the industry ranges from development, construction, and financing roles with a family-owned development company, to serving in leadership positions with an international brokerage service company, to leading his own real estate firm. He is responsible for developing and leasing more than 12 million square feet, with three million square feet of new construction. He has executed assignments in almost every state in the United States and internationally.

Scott draws on a strong network of relationships in the market to deliver for his clients as he navigates complex developments and transactions. A key area of focus includes representing both tenants and buyers in Central Ohio’s thriving industrial market. Scott quickly transitions from close to getting the property shovel ready and the project built. He assists clients with site selection, planning, zoning, utilities, and development, economic incentive packages, contractor selection, and construction.
