Brandon van Hal

Brandon Van Hal is an experienced M&A and Debt Advisory Associate at Avison Young, providing sell-side advisory to mid-market business owners and management teams since October 2020. Prior to this role, Brandon served as a Wildfire Fighter with the Government of Alberta, contributing to the suppression of wildfires from April 2018 to September 2019. Earlier experience includes positions as a Customer Service Representative at UBC Okanagan, where Brandon managed facility operations and customer relations, and as a Residential Catastrophe Claims Analyst at TD Insurance, handling numerous insurance claims and negotiations. Additionally, Brandon worked in Facilities Services at Spruce Meadows LTD, assisting with event setup and management. Brandon holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from UBC and a Real Estate Development Certificate from the University of Calgary.
