Steve Schiess

Steve Schiess is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the dental industry and healthcare sector. Currently serving as an Operating Executive at Avista Capital Partners since January 2021, Steve has previously held significant leadership roles, including President and CEO of Zest Dental Solutions from October 2010 to January 2019, and President of Biomet 3i from 1998 to 2009. At Biomet 3i, Steve also contributed as VP of Sales and Marketing. Prior to that, Steve held the position of VP of Sales and Marketing at Cordis from 1991 to 1998. Steve Schiess has been recognized as a dental industry expert since retiring in January 2019 and holds a degree from Florida State University.
