Austin Sorenson

Austin Sorenson, MHA, currently serves as the Executive Director at Avista Senior Living since April 2023, bringing a wealth of experience from various leadership roles in senior living, including multiple positions at Kisco Senior Living from November 2018 to May 2023. Prior to that, Austin worked as a Patient Experience Intern at Sanford Health, focusing on improving patient experiences through relationship building and process evaluation. Earlier roles include Community Relations Coordinator at Blue Harbor Senior Living and Business Office Manager at Sinceri Senior Living, where responsibilities encompassed human resource management, financial oversight, and community relations. Austin began the career as a Certified Nursing Assistant, providing direct patient care, and also has experience in member services at Mountain America Credit Union. Academic qualifications include a Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Business Management from Utah Valley University.
