Jesse Valdez has worked in a variety of roles since 1998. From 1998 to 2001, they worked as a Ceramics Assistant at Central Arizona College, where they were responsible for coordinating student firings, producing glaze chemicals, and maintaining the ceramics studio. From 2001 to 2004, they worked as a Document Control Manager at Cruise America, where they were in charge of maintaining and controlling all documentation, drawings, and technical documentation. From 2004 to 2006, they worked as an Art Teacher at Superior Unified School District, where they developed classroom curriculum for preschool to 12th grade students. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as an Art/Computer Teacher at Avalon Elementary School, where they developed basic art curriculum for grades 6-8. From 2008 to 2012, they worked as an Environmental Specialist at Superior Environmental Solutions, where they were responsible for operating a hydro seeder and performing chemical and non-chemical weed control. Finally, from 2012 to present, they have worked as a Maintenance Director at Avista Senior Living, where they are responsible for ensuring all HVAC and Heating systems are properly maintained and are in good working order, painting all vacant apartments, and ordering and stocking parts.

Jesse Valdez attended Apache Junction High School from 1993 to 1997, where they received their Diploma. Jesse then attended Central Arizona College from 1996 to 2002, where they earned an Associate of Arts (AA) in Art/Art Studies, General.
