Mike Magruder

Mike Magruder has over two decades of experience in the electric utility industry, primarily with Avista since July 2001, where roles have included Director of T&D System Operations, Manager of Hydro Operations & Maintenance, Substation Engineering Manager, Sr. Substation Engineer, System Planning Engineer, and Distribution Engineer. Prior experience includes serving as Special Projects Engineer at Tacoma Power from May 1994 to July 2001. Mike Magruder holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington (1990-1993) and an Associate of Arts degree in Pre-Engineering from Taft College (1987-1989).
