Derek Muhl

Derek Muhl, CTS-I, is a Senior Field Engineer at AVI Systems since October 2022, with previous experience as a Commissioning Specialist and Assoc Project Engineer at AVI-SPL from October 2019 to October 2022. Derek has a robust background in testing, calibrating, and troubleshooting complex audiovisual systems, with skills in configuring networking infrastructure, digital audio/video streaming, and digital signage systems. Derek's technical expertise includes proficiency with various audio equipment and software, alongside hands-on experience during an internship at Decade Music Studios, where skills in mixing and mastering were developed. A Bachelor’s degree in Audio Design and Production from Columbia College Chicago further complements Derek's technical capabilities.
