Jean Hutchinson Lmsw

Jean Hutchinson, LMSW, is an experienced mental health and social work professional with a diverse background spanning various roles in the field. Currently serving as a Counselor at Avita Community Partners since July 2022, Jean has previously worked as a Family Partner at Rabun Head Start and as a Behavior Coach at AbleTo Inc. Jean's experience also includes positions as a Social Worker at Bridge City Center for Youth and the Louisiana Corrections Institute for Women, as well as the Elayn Hunt Correctional Center. Prior roles encompass providing cognitive behavioral therapy to children at New Beginnings Behavioral Health and managing programs and staff as IFSS Director at St John ARC. Jean began a career in social work as a Residential Advocate at the Metropolitan Center for Women and Children. Jean holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Southern University at New Orleans and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Southeastern Louisiana University.
