Tonya Shuman MS, LPC, CCATP-CA is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in counseling and therapy. As a small business owner of A Beautiful Exchange Counseling and Consulting since September 2022, Tonya focuses on mental health advocacy and education, assisting individuals and families in fostering healthy relationships and overcoming trauma. Since March 2015, Tonya has also served as a Mental Health Therapist at Avita Community Partners, providing behavioral health services in an outpatient setting. Previously, Tonya held the position of Licensed Professional Counselor at CENTER POINT COUNSELING, INC. from October 2018 to September 2022. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Clinical/Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University, an Esthetics Certificate from Lanier Technical College, and a Bachelor of Arts in Radio, Television, and Digital Communication from the University of North Texas.
