Allen Hocker

Allen Hocker has extensive work experience in healthcare administration and nursing. Allen started their career as a Staff Nurse at MedCentral Health System in 1998 and worked there until 2012. Allen then joined OhioHealth MedCentral Shelby Hospital as an Assistant Nurse Manager for Shelby Surgical Services from 2011 to 2015. After that, they moved to OhioHealth and served as a Nurse Manager and later as a Director of Surgical Services from 2015 to 2017. From 2017 to 2021, Allen worked at Mount Carmel Health System, initially as Director of Surgical Services and later as the Interim Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Surgery. In 2021, they joined OhioHealth again as the Senior Advisor of Operations at OhioHealth Shelby Hospital until 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Ancillary Services at Avita Health System from 2022 onwards. Allen has demonstrated their expertise in managing healthcare operations, building physician relationships, and achieving organizational goals throughout their career.

Allen Hocker has a Master's Degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Franklin University, which they earned from 2015 to 2016. Allen also holds a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Ashland University, completed from 2014 to 2015. Earlier, from 1996 to 1998, Allen obtained a Diploma in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Mansfield General School of Nursing. In addition, they have obtained the CNOR certification from the Competency & Credentialing Institute (CCI) in December 2018.
