Alex Cooper

Alex Cooper has extensive work experience in the pharmacy industry. They started their career at Longs Drugs in 2012 as a Pharmacy Intern and later became a Pharmacist, focusing on clinical staff responsibilities. In 2018, they joined Avita Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Manager, where they worked on optimizing staffing levels and streamlining workflow through new systems and technology. They also served as the Director of Care Team before assuming their current role as the Director of Pharmacy Centralized Services, where they collaborate cross-functionally to drive efficiencies and develop solutions in pharmacy operations.

Alex Cooper obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of South Carolina from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2011, Alex completed a Bachelor's of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from The University of Toledo. Alex also holds additional certifications such as Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) from the American Heart Association obtained in August 2019, and an APhA Immunization Delivery Certification from the American Pharmacists Association obtained in 2013.
