Ilya Valyaev

Ilya Valyaev is a seasoned data science professional with significant experience in search ranking and recommendation systems. Currently serving as the DS Team Lead at Авито since February 2018, Ilya oversees a team focused on enhancing search ranking for customer satisfaction through machine learning and innovative methodologies. Prior to this role, Ilya worked as a Data Scientist at МТС and DoubleData, and began a career in data science at Tele 2 Russia as a Customer Base Analysis Specialist. Ilya holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Lomonosov Moscow State University, acquired between 2009 and 2013.
