Kurt Jacobus has held a variety of roles in the medical, technology, and venture capital industries. Kurt began their career in 2010 as an Adjunct Professor and Board Member/Chairman of the School of Materials Science and Engineering External Advisory Board and Board Member of the College of Engineering External Advisory Board at Georgia Institute of Technology. In 2017, they became a Director, Board of Directors and Investor of Impressio Inc. and in 2018 they became a Managing Director of GRA Venture Fund, LLC, a Director, Board of Directors and Investor of Huxley Medical, Inc., and a Director, Board of Directors of Codoxo. In 2020, they became a Director, Board of Directors of Apptega and Chairman and CEO; Investor of restor3d. In 2021, they became Chairman, Board of Directors of EarliTec Diagnostics Inc. and in 2022 they became a Director, Board of Directors of Avitus Orthopaedics.
Kurt Jacobus received their Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1993. Kurt then went on to receive their Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1995. Finally, they received their PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1999. Kurt also attended Jesuit High School of New Orleans from 1985 to 1989.
