Aaron Newell

Aaron Newell holds a BSc in International Development with a focus on Development Economics from the University of London, obtained between 2014 and 2017. Currently, Aaron serves as the VP of Program Governance & Analytics at Aviva Canada since July 2022. Prior to this, Aaron worked at Aviva in various roles including Chief of Staff to the Group CIO and IT Finance Business Partner from June 2020 to July 2022. Aaron's tenure at Aviva also included positions such as Technology Transformation Manager, Strategy Project Manager, and Business Analyst from November 2015 to December 2019. Earlier experience includes serving as an Investment Analyst at Friends Life UK from October 2014 to November 2015, Business Analyst and Investment Operations SME at Royal London from May 2011 to October 2014, and Investment Operations roles at Old Mutual Group from March 2009 to May 2012.
