William (Bill) Warner has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. William (Bill) began their career as an Instructor at SFU Continuing Education in 1996. In 1997, they joined Datum Telegraphic as a Member of Technical Staff, where they developed a Tx I/Q impairment compensation circuit and adaptation algorithm for RF HPA Pre-Distortion system. In 2000, they joined PMC-Sierra as a Principal, Technical Advisor and Leader, where they were responsible for overall receiver architecture strategy, equalization, adaptation, timing recovery, and BER performance projections using detailed end-to-end system simulation model of anticipated SerDes links. William (Bill) also provided strategic investigations into analog equalization architecture alternatives for advanced SerDes products. In 2014, they joined Cold Bore Technology as a Principal - DSP, where they developed and delivered solutions to critical problems that were limiting product viability. In 2017, they founded HotRock Labs, where they developed mobile apps for Android and iOS. William (Bill)'sinaugural product was ScrollTuner for Android, a chromatic musical tuner that analyzes and records tuning performance while playing real music. In 2021, they joined Aviva Links as a DSP Systems Architect.
William (Bill) Warner obtained their MASc in Electrical Engineering/Communication from The University of British Columbia, followed by a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
