Mark Gorman

Mark Gorman is the Head of Financial & Capital Management for Aviva UK Life, where they manage and optimize the financial and capital position of the UK Life non-profits business and oversee reinsurance activities. They began their career at EY, spending about ten years there as a part-qualified accountant and later as a qualified actuary, before leaving as a Senior Manager. Since joining Aviva in 2016, Mark has held various roles, including five years as a Senior Manager and one year as Head of Life Actuarial. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Bath and actively contribute to the actuarial community as a committee member of SIAS, having served two years as honorary secretary.
